Black Fox History
In 2018, retired United States Army senior leader Marcellus "Fox" Wade formed Black Fox to continue to support her nation domestic and abroad when his military career was shortened due to wounds sustain during combat operations. Combining military and civil defense experience, Fox and his team supported government agencies and corporations by providing efficient professional services to ensure continuity and mission assurance.

EBV Veterans Impact Award
The UConn Impact Award was awarded to Marcellus Wade, Class of 2015 EBV Graduate and CEO of Black Fox, in recognition of a veteran creating significant economic, social and political capital for veterans. Marcellus has developed Black Fox into a veteran “friendly” hiring firm that sustains a veteran’s population of 85% on staff.

Community Support

Black Fox is an advocate of positive social change. By means of giving back to the community, the organization hosts, sponsors and present a quarterly business development workshop, free of charge, to the residents of Flint, Michigan and Baltimore, Maryland. The workshops focus on starting a business, government contracting, leveraging technology and funding support. The workshop has helped produce three small businesses which all have contributed to the economic development of the communities.
