Deon Taylor, MS, CBCP, GSP
Chief Resilience Officer

Deon Taylor is a Navy veteran with a passion for safety and sustainable business practices.  Over the years, his combined military and professional experiences has equipped him in various areas of management, as it relates to: safety, risk, strategic management, environmental, emergency, training, security, and continuity.  He also has developed and directed projects that foster continuous improvement, with specialized areas of focus in operations, ISO standards and business management.  He comes with over 15 years of professional leadership in corporate safety and training.

During his tenure in the United States Navy, Deon served onboard a nuclear destroyer guided ship and was awarded the following:  Good Conduct Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Medal, and Engineering Certification and license.

Deon holds a Master of Science in Safety Management from Oakland University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Nevada-Reno. He is a Certified Business Continuity Professional through Disaster Recovery Institute. He has the credentials of Graduate Safety Professional (GSP) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. First-Aid/CPR/AED Certified. OSHA 511/501 Certified, Hazardous Waste Certified, DOT Certified, 40Hr-Hazwoper Certified, and is a member of the American Society of Safety Professionals.
