
Fox Wade
Fox Wade is the Founder and CEO of Black Fox. Fox Wade was raised on the northside of Flint, Michigan in an extreme poverty-stricken neighborhood. Fox was a subject of childhood abuse, neglect, and severe trauma as a child. Fox moved from home to home and sometimes lived in the basements of childhood friends.
After becoming homeless at the age of 17, Fox joined the United States Army to stop living on the streets of Flint, Michigan. After joining the United States Army, Fox found himself in support of Operation Enduring Freedom Afghanistan after the September 11, 2001, attacks on America. Fox then soon later deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom where he was later injured while conducting combat operations in the western part of the country.
After working several jobs including the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Fox decided to launch his own firm Black Fox to provide professional services to government agencies. Black Fox has prime contracts supporting the US Department of Transportation, the Baltimore County Public Schools, the General Services Administration, and the Department of Interior, employing over 30 full-time employees, and 15 independent contractors across Maryland.
After successfully launching his firm, Fox Wade has grown Black Fox to a respected business receiving top industry awards from the Department of Labor and the Small Business Administration. Fox Wade mentors’ others in his GovCon Blueprint company, helping them win government contracts in less than 90 days.
Fox is advocate for community development as a volunteer in Flint, MI, west Baltimore, MD and west Atlanta, GA. Fox provides entrepreneur mentorship to young males in adverse communities with the goal to ensure they have the tools and resources to become successful businessmen.
