Barry K. Kinsey, a retired Captain with the U.S. Army, is an entrepreneur and military veteran with more than 33 years of professional experience in operations management, continuity of operations planning, continuity of government, disaster preparedness, disaster planning, disaster response, disaster recovery and training, to include over seven years of expert experience in business process and impact analysis under the Department of Home Security.
Barry’s awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal (with 9 Oak Leaf Clusters), the Army Achievement Medal (with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters), the Army Good Conduct Medal (with 4 Loops), the National Defense Service Medal (with Bronze Stars), the Iraq Campaign Medal (with 3 Bronze Stars), the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, a Meritorious Unit Citation, the German Schutzenschnur (Silver), the U.S. Army Drill Sergeant Badge, and a letter of appreciation from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, National Continuity Programs.
Barry holds a B.S. in Occupational Training and Development from the University of Louisville, in Kentucky. He also holds the Federal Emergency Management Agency Excellence Series-Level II Master Continuity Practitioner Certificate.
